Maria Vargas
Maria is the founder of Brand Spark and is a multi-hyphenate with a background in communications, marketing, strategic storytelling, and entrepreneurship. She enjoys working with organizations that are striving to leave a positive mark on the world.
Maria is a storyteller, photographer, world traveler, writer, and endurance sports enthusiast. She has completed an Ironman 70.3, a 10-mile open water swim, a marathon, 50K, and even trained at a Shaolin Temple in Europe.
In the summer of 2023, thanks to a YouTube channel, she went on a spontaneous trip around the world in 89 days going to 25 cities and 12 countries. She's in the process of writing a book about this experience.
Maria has been working in the running industry for over three years and has over 10 years of experience in marketing, entrepreneurship, events, and communications.
Maria was born in Bogota, Colombia and now lives in Austin, Texas.
